What the Geely Jiaji takes
As an SUV, the Jiaji carries a larger battery than a saloon, and the engine bay runs hot in traffic. Larger cases mean more capacity, but they also suffer more from long idling with the AC on.
Versions of the Jiaji from about 2015 onwards are more likely to have start-stop and a battery sensor, which means an EFB or AGM battery and sometimes registration after fitting.
The Emgrand, with its 1.5 litre non-turbo engine, usually takes a 45 to 60 Ah flooded battery. The Coolray's three-cylinder turbo normally has start-stop and a 60 to 70 Ah EFB or AGM.
